Trimming,
Buffing & Cleaning Systems
|

|
Gottschild
systems are used for trimming and buffing/cleaning of rigid
thermofoil laminated furniture components.
The Gottschild CS 2001 is a trimming machine for foil
laminated 3-D components. The overhead trimming system removes the
entire overlapping PVC foil from MDF components. The CS 2001
automatically recognizes the size and thickness of components, which
makes random feeding possible. The BSD 2000 is a buffing machine for
removing the excess glue on the melamine side (back) of the panel.
The BSD 2000 uses a four- or eight-head rotating brush system to
remove glue overspray from the back of each panel and is able to
sense each length and width. The CBS 3800 combines both trimming and
buffing in one machine. Combining the trimming and buffing functions
in one machine allows for a more compact machine design in a single
process, saving you valuable floor space, manual labor, and money.

The Gottschild
BSD 2000 is a buffing and cleaning system for foil coated, 3-D
furniture front panels. The four- or eight-head rotating brush system
removes the glue overspray from the back of the furniture front
panels, achieving an optimum texture of edges at the same time. This
result is achieved, because the disk brushes are put on the back of
the front panels with pneumatically controlled pressure and clean
them. Any remaining loose glue is removed by a spiral brush. The BSD
2000 has been designed for a capacity of up to 3800 parts per shift,
making the machine the perfect buffing system for medium and
large-scale productions. The BSD 2000 has been equipped with an
automatic recognition of size and thickness of the furniture panels,
enabling easy adaptation to random loading, without losing time in throughfeed operation. Due to the flexible
control system, there is the possibility of buffing rectangular and
contour parts. The low-maintenance brushes are very durable, ensuring
low production costs.

The Gottschild
CS 2001 is a trimming machine for foil laminated, 3-D furniture
components. The proven overhead trimming system on the CS 2001
removes the entire overlapping PVC foil from MDF furniture
components. This overhead trimmer is designed to handle continuous
3-shift operation, with a capacity of 7.5 parts per minute and 3600
parts per shift. This makes the CS 2001 the perfect trimming system
for large producers of rectangular furniture components. The CS 2001
automatically recognizes the size and thickness of furniture
components, making random feeding possible. The two-head trimming
system, with patented round knives, quickly and efficiently processes
the lengthwise edges of the workpiece in throughfeed
operation.

The Gottschild
CBS 3800 is a combined trimming and buffing machine for foil
laminated, 3-D furniture components. The proven overhead trimming
system for removing the entire overlapping PVC foil from MDF
furniture components is perfectly complemented by a brushing unit.
The four- or eight-head rotating brush system removes the glue
overspray from the backs of the 3-D furniture components, as well as
rounds down the sharp foil edges for optimum results. Combining the
trimming and buffing units allows for a single process. The CBS 3800
can produce up to 2400 panels per shift, utilizing both trimming and
buffing functions. The two-head trimming system, with patented round
knives, quickly and efficiently processes the lengthwise edges of the
workpiece in throughfeed operation. The
flexible control system offers the possibility of running the
trimming and cleaning functions with this separate control function;
the brush station can also clean contoured parts. The low-maintenance
brushes are very durable, ensuring low production costs.
